What is it that you do and how do you do it?
I build full-sized motorcycles and mini-builds – those are like a really small motorcycle, just knee height or so. Some of the builds are fully functional but not for daily use; they are more like museum pieces. And you can use the mini-build just for fun. I took some photos and did some films with a recent mini-build, and people are always asking me what it is – they’ve never seen anything like it.
There are people who have nothing to do with motorcycles and don’t even like them, and they say that my builds look like art and that’s what attracts them to my work.
Usually, I start with an engine and then I will make all the other things around it myself. From the frame and the forks to even the wheels, I manufacture them all by hand. I mainly use steel and aluminium, sometimes a bit of bronze.
