I am a watercolour paint maker and artist living in Scheveningen in the Netherlands. I’m originally from Canada but relocated to the Netherlands in 2016 to be with my partner, and recently moved to a beautiful new home studio a few steps away from the beach.

Although a larger and more centrally located studio would definitely be a useful addition to my business nowadays, my home studio brings me an immense amount of joy. Beams of sunlight and the fresh sea air flood through my windows for hours every day.

As an artist, I love creating very intricate and highly ornamental artwork. I used to work in pen and ink and wanted to find art supplies that were more sustainable than disposable plastic pen barrels. This is when I discovered the world of handmade watercolours. I bought myself some paint-making equipment for my 30th birthday and started to experiment.
