My name is T J Norris and I am an illustrator and printmaker. Most of my time is spent doing freelance commercial illustration, creating artwork for businesses that ends up on apparel, album covers, beer can labels and everything in between. I create all of my illustrations digitally using a tablet and a laptop, but my work is heavily inspired by traditional analogue printmaking techniques. I love the process of using modern tools to mimic age-old processes as I feel it gives my work a unique character and handcrafted feel.

When I’m not doing freelance work, I like to step away from my computer and jump into those very same printmaking processes that I work to mimic digitally, particularly a technique called block printing.
