Zwartko is a small studio paper mill that uses 100% recycled paper scrap sourced from neighbouring businesses to create custom paper to clients’ colour and seed specifications.

My handmade paper is used in a range of products, the bread and butter of which is printed business stationery. I give companies of all shapes and sizes the opportunity to tailor paper, graphic design and products to their individual needs while transforming trash into treasure. Love and attention are given to every stage of the lengthy process.

Paper is hand-pulled from A1-sized ‘moulds and deckles’, couched onto felt and line dried. Paper is cut in half and hand-fed into a professional inkjet printer where it is aligned by eye, flipped and sectioned into individual products with a manual guillotine.
